Monaco Yacht Show 2026: Superyachts, Design and Technology Through Our Eyes
Every September, Port Hercule becomes one of the most important meeting points for the international superyacht industry. The Monaco Yacht Show 2026, taking place from 23 to 26 September at Port Hercule, once again brings together shipyards, yacht designers, brokers, equipment manufacturers and professionals from across the industry.
For us at Yacht Photo Studio, visiting the show is not only about discovering new yachts. It is also an opportunity to observe how the industry is evolving, how shipyards are presenting their latest projects and, above all, how photography, video, design and marketing are increasingly connected.
This year, that connection was particularly evident.
23–26 September 2026 · Port Hercule, Monaco
Around 120 superyachts · 60+ luxury tenders

More Than a Yacht Show
One of our strongest impressions from the 2026 edition was the level of attention dedicated to presentation and brand communication.
The stands have become increasingly sophisticated environments, where architecture, lighting, screens, video content and carefully selected materials are used to communicate the identity of each company.

Technology was everywhere too, from onboard systems and equipment to new solutions related to mobility and the wider luxury ecosystem.
But the experience extends well beyond yachts. Walking around the show, we found exceptional luxury and performance cars alongside tenders, water toys and a helicopter. It creates an interesting ecosystem in which yachting, technology, automotive, aviation and luxury design increasingly share the same audience.
Another piece of technology that caught our attention was a passenger-carrying drone, a compact eVTOL aircraft designed around the idea of short-distance air mobility. Looking almost like a small flying taxi, it was one of those exhibits that immediately made us stop and take a closer look. Seeing technologies like this alongside superyachts, helicopters, performance cars and advanced marine equipment shows how the Monaco Yacht Show increasingly brings together different visions of luxury mobility — on the water, on the road and potentially in the air.
For photographers and filmmakers working in this industry, it is also interesting to see how much companies are investing in the visual presentation of their products.
Discovering the New Generation of Superyachts
Of course, the yachts remain at the centre of the Monaco Yacht Show.
The 2026 fleet offered an opportunity to see many recently delivered yachts and new projects in one place, covering very different concepts, sizes and approaches to life on board.
We were particularly interested in seeing the latest projects from the Italian shipyards, but also yachts from Turkish builders such as AVA Yachts and Sirena Yachts.
Turkey continues to be an interesting part of the international yacht-building landscape, and seeing these yachts alongside established European shipyards gave us another perspective on how quickly the market is developing.
Meeting SPRIBE and Niccolò Piredda
One of the nicest surprises of our visit was meeting Niccolò Piredda of Piredda & Partners.
We had the opportunity to discover SPRIBE, the 50-metre Admiral Panorama 50. Seeing the yacht while meeting its designer made the experience particularly interesting for us.

As yacht photographers, we spend a great deal of time interpreting architecture through images. Understanding the ideas behind a space — the relationship between interiors and exteriors, sight lines, materials, natural light and the sea — changes the way we look at a yacht and, eventually, the way we photograph it.
A Familiar Yacht in Monaco: Benetti B.Now 50
Among all the yachts at the show, one was particularly familiar to us: the Benetti B.Now 50.
We recently had the opportunity to produce an extensive photographic and video project aboard this model, covering interiors, exterior spaces, lifestyle, navigation, drone photography and chase-boat sequences.
Seeing a yacht at a show after having spent so much time photographing it professionally is a very different experience. During a photoshoot, we have the opportunity to study the yacht slowly: its proportions, how the spaces connect, how the light changes throughout the day and which viewpoints best communicate its character.

Sometimes the Best Part Is Meeting People Again
The Monaco Yacht Show is also about relationships.
While walking through the show, we met members of the crew of Phoenician, the Sanlorenzo Alloy 44 that we previously photographed.
These unexpected meetings are one of the aspects we enjoy most about working in the yacht industry. A yacht photoshoot may last one or two days, but during that time we work closely with captains and crew to organise spaces, movements, tenders, water toys and navigation.
Meeting the same people again months later, in another country or at an international yacht show, reminds us how connected this industry really is.
What the Monaco Yacht Show Tells Us About Yacht Marketing
After spending the day between yachts, stands, designers, technology and luxury brands, one thing was very clear to us: the visual identity of a yacht has become an increasingly important part of the product itself.
Shipyards invest enormous resources in design. Interior designers work on materials, light and details. Crews prepare yachts meticulously. Brokers need to communicate the experience of being on board to potential buyers and charter clients who may initially discover a yacht through a screen.
Photography and video sit at the end of this process.
Our role is to translate all of that work into images while remaining faithful to the yacht itself.
A photograph needs to be attractive, but it also needs to explain a space. A video needs movement and emotion, but it should still give the viewer a realistic understanding of the yacht.
For us, this balance between architecture, atmosphere and commercial communication is becoming increasingly important in modern yacht photography.
Yacht Photography in Monaco
Monaco is not only somewhere we visit during the yacht show.
It is one of the main areas where Yacht Photo Studio works throughout the season, together with Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Tropez and the main yachting destinations across Italy and the Mediterranean.
Working in Monaco also presents particular challenges for a yacht photographer: busy marinas, limited space, changing light, yacht movements and specific considerations when aerial photography is required.
You can discover our approach to professional yacht photography in Monaco, including photography and video production for yachts, brokers, shipyards and charter companies.

The Monaco Yacht Show remains an important occasion for us to meet people from the industry, discover new yachts and understand where yacht design and communication are heading.
And after this year’s visit, we return to our work with some new ideas — not only about what to photograph, but about how the next generation of yachts deserves to be photographed.
