How to Prepare a Yacht for a Charter Photoshoot
A charter photoshoot is not only about photographing the yacht. It is also about photographing the work of the crew.
The service, attention to detail and atmosphere created on board are an essential part of the charter experience. Our goal is to show potential guests not only where they will stay, but what they can experience and how they will be looked after.
Show what guests can experience
The yacht should look exactly as it would when welcoming guests.
This means preparing cabins and exterior areas, but also showing the yacht in use: breakfast on deck, water toys ready in the sea, a relaxed afternoon, cocktails at sunset or dinner under the yacht’s lights.
The crew plays an important role in these images. Rather than posing for the camera, crew members can simply do their normal work: setting a table, serving drinks, preparing food, launching the tender or assisting with the water toys.
These small moments show the level of service on board and make the images feel natural.

Follow the day from daylight to sunset
A charter experience changes throughout the day, and the photography should follow it.
We can start with the cabins and interiors, move outside for relaxation and water activities, and gradually change the atmosphere as the light becomes softer.
Towards sunset, the crew can prepare an aperitif and later dinner. After sunset, the yacht’s lighting creates another important part of the story.
In this way, photography and video can recreate a complete charter day — from daytime activities to dinner after sunset.
Your work is part of the story
A perfectly prepared yacht is important, but for charter photography this is only the starting point.
The crew brings the yacht to life. The way you prepare the spaces, serve the guests, present the food and organise the activities is part of what future guests are choosing when they book a charter.
We photograph the yacht, but we also photograph the experience you create on board.
