A yacht’s exterior is a combination of design, architecture and its relationship with the sea. We photograph hull lines, exterior decks, beach clubs, sundecks, dining areas, jacuzzis and outdoor living spaces with the same attention to composition, perspective and light that we bring to architectural photography. Working from onboard or from a tender or chase boat allows us to move between wide views and architectural details, creating a complete visual presentation of the yacht for brokerage, charter, shipyards and marketing.
From Daylight to Sunset and Blue Hour
Exterior yacht photography changes throughout the day. Daylight reveals materials, volumes and the connection between the different decks, while golden hour and sunset create a softer atmosphere for lifestyle and outdoor spaces. We often continue into blue hour, when the yacht’s exterior and interior lighting become part of the image and completely transform the character of the decks. Planning the shoot around these different moments allows us to create a varied collection of images that presents both the design of the yacht and the experience of being onboard.
