Genoa International Boat Show 2026: Yacht Photography, Video and Marketing

From 1 to 6 October 2026, Genoa will once again become one of the main meeting points for the international yachting industry with the 66th Genoa International Boat Show.

Shipyards, yacht brands, designers, brokers and marine companies will meet in Genoa to present new models, technologies and ideas for the future of yachting.

For us, the Genoa Boat Show is particularly interesting because it combines the international yacht industry with one of the most important nautical areas in Italy.

New yachts, design and innovation

The Genoa Boat Show has always been closely connected to the Italian yacht industry, but its role extends well beyond the domestic market.

The show brings together hundreds of exhibitors and a wide variety of yachts and boats, with dedicated areas including Yachts & Superyachts, Sailing World, Boating Discovery, Tech Trade and Living the Sea.

For photographers and content creators, events like Genoa are also an opportunity to observe how yacht design and communication are changing.

New exterior layouts, larger connections with the sea, innovative materials, lighting and technology all influence not only how yachts are designed, but also how they need to be photographed and presented.

A boat show is also a communication opportunity

Presenting a yacht at an international boat show requires much more than having the yacht on display.

Shipyards and brands need content for press releases, websites, social media, dealers and marketing campaigns.

Photography can document a new model, its interiors, exterior design and important details. Video can add movement and atmosphere, while short vertical content can communicate what is happening during the show almost in real time.

The important point is to think about these different formats as part of the same communication strategy.

Photography and video during the Genoa Boat Show

During the Genoa International Boat Show, we can produce photography and video directly at the event for shipyards, brokers, designers and yacht companies.

This can include yacht interiors and exteriors, design details, presentations, interviews and short social media content.

However, photographing a yacht inside a busy boat show also has limitations. Other yachts, visitors, structures and exhibition activity inevitably become part of the environment.

For this reason, when a complete yacht presentation is required, we often prefer to combine the event with a dedicated photoshoot.

Before or after the show

Photographing the yacht outside the exhibition gives us much more control over the final result.

The yacht can be photographed at anchor or underway, using a tender and, where regulations permit, a drone to create different exterior perspectives.

We can work with the best light, photograph interiors without visitors and continue through sunset and blue hour.

A production like this can create a complete visual library: high-resolution photography for websites and brochures, video, drone footage and vertical content for Instagram and other social channels.

The material can then be used long after the Boat Show has finished.

Genoa and the Ligurian coast

Our work in the area is not limited to the Genoa Boat Show.

Genoa, La Spezia and Portofino are regular locations for yacht photography and video productions, making it possible to organise a dedicated photoshoot before or after the exhibition or when a yacht is cruising along the Ligurian coast.

For yachts arriving in Genoa for the show, this can be a good opportunity to create new marketing material while the yacht is already in the area.

Genoa International Boat Show 2026

The 66th Genoa International Boat Show takes place from 1 to 6 October 2026.

We will be available in Genoa for yacht photography, video and content production during the event, as well as for dedicated yacht photoshoots in Genoa and along the Ligurian coast before and after the show.

For shipyards, brokers and yacht companies, the objective is not simply to document a few days at the exhibition, but to use the opportunity to create content that can continue communicating the yacht throughout the season.
